The Tragic Sip is where I explain my words to you. Here I post my poetry and prose segments and let you know what was going on in my mind upon writing. My poems run from the humorous to the philosophical from rhymes to free verse. And I love my senryu and tanka but I give them titles … so there. Sometimes I even have opinions.

The Well
When you are thirsty, drink
Return to the well and drink
When you are tired, sleep
Lay your head upon your resting stone
Return to the well and sleep
Do not complain of thirst
Do not complain of fatigue
Hardships grow
Rooted in your lamentations
When you are thirsty
When you are tired
Return to the well and drink
